Ever fancied building a campfire, exploring the outdoors, taking on a new challenge, getting creative or trying something completely different?
That’s what Scouting is all about!
At Chapelford Scout Group, there’s always something to get stuck into. We bring young people together to have fun, make friends, discover what they’re capable of and create memories that last a lifetime.
Whether we’re camping under the stars, tackling team challenges, learning new skills or getting stuck into something unexpected, there’s an adventure waiting around every corner.
And the best bit? There’s a place for everyone!

We meet every Wednesday during school term time at Chapelford Primary School. Check out our sections below to find the right adventure for you!
Beavers
Ages 5¾–8 | Wednesdays, 6:10pm–7:10pm
The perfect place to start! Beavers have fun, make friends, explore the world around them and discover just how much they can do.
Cubs
Ages 8–10½ | Wednesdays, 6:30pm–8:00pm
Ready for more? Cubs take on bigger adventures, learn new skills, work together and discover that a little teamwork can go a long way.
Scouts
Ages 10½–14 | Wednesdays, 7:30pm–8:45pm
More independence, bigger challenges and even bigger adventures! Scouts push their boundaries, take the lead and make the most of every opportunity.

You don’t have to be an expert camper, an outdoor enthusiast or know your knots from your neckers to get involved!
We’re always looking for enthusiastic adults to join our volunteer team. Whether you can help every week, once in a while or behind the scenes, you could help make a real difference.
